Frankie Kadir Vaughan (he/him)

writer and artist in performance / sculpture / video / installation 

Based in New York, Frankie is an American-Turkish artist, shares his stories of ER visits, previous job experiences, and occasionally what people have called him through performance and video. Using video as a visual language, he manipulates space and time by creating video- and site-specific installations. Frankie draws on his own experiences — familiar, platonic, romantic, and imaginary ones — and formulates them to a consice topical material.

Currently studying at the State University of New York, Purchase College, Frankie is earning his Master of Arts in Art History with a concentration in Modern and Contemporary Art and Curatorial Practices, as well as his Master of Fine Arts in Performance and Sculpture.


Additionally, Frankie served as the Public Arts Coordinator at the State University of New York, Purchase College, as well as the Founder and co-curator of PonyHaus, an emerging artists’ hybrid gallery based between New York, East Hampton, and Berlin. 

He has two toy poodles: Ruby, and Scout.
